Update from the choir

Another sunny day for us at LostFest, with a lot of high spirits and equally high jinx! We were delighted to perform some of our favourite numbers as well as a selection from our new repertoire.  We are already looking ahead to LostFest 2025, with some exciting new additions to our choral collection. Watch this space!

We're now focussing on our concert on May 28, which forms part of St Martin's Church music and flower festival. After which, there is a trio of Summer concerts that will feature some exciting guest soloists and instrumentalists.

Latest news from Levow Kesson

The new choral season is well under way. The combined choral event in which we took part was a resounding success. Great interest has been generated to perform another large-scale work amongst those who took part, as well as those who came to listen. Be on the lookout for further details.

For the time being, LK is delighted to be focusing their attention on a series of concerts scheduled throughout Spring and Summer in venues across South-East Cornwall.

Before all that, LK is very much looking forward to making their annual appearance at LostFest. We look forward to seeing you there - Sunday, May 19 at 2pm in St Bartholomew's Church, Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

Levow Kesson Press release for 2024

A new year and a new choral season!  Our calendar for 2024 has now been scheduled, with two large scale projects on the horizon:

a combined choral event at the end of March, where 3 choirs will join to perform John Stainer's evergreen work for Easter - The Crucifixion;

a festival during the last week of May, where choirs, instrumentalists, vocalists and emerging talent will perform surrounded by some amazing floral creations.

Both events will take place at St Martin's Church in Liskeard, Cornwall.

Pausing to reflect: looking back over 2023

Levow Kesson has had another amazing year filled with music and song.  We formed new choral partnerships and were delighted to give a platform for emerging talent.  We sang in some truly beautiful venues and had fun at music festivals.  Many didn't want 2023 to end!  Throughout it all we stayed strong in our closely knit bond of friendship and song.

We are extremely excited about our prospects for 2024 and hope that you will join with us at some point.  Sending the best of wishes to everyone for the new year from everyone in LK
